Cours Pointe-Saint-Charles: it's a start
A moment filled with pride as work begins to revive the lands of the Cours Pointe-Saint-Charles project.
After more than a decade of planning and negotiations completed, these first shovels herald the achievement of the Development Agreement signed by the City of Montreal, the Sud-Ouest Borough, Groupe Petra and MACH, which will make possible the transformation of this wasteland, once industrial, into a family environment, safe and focused on the well-being of citizens.
This agreement is the result of consultations with the community, and we are proud to see our combined efforts materialize. This project will allow the creation of more than 250,000 square feet of new green spaces, as well as 925 housing units, including 215 social housing units.
