Construction starts in St. Eustache
New building of 200,000 sq.ft. in the Innoparc Albatros district.
The Mach Group Inc. (MACH) and NSE Technical and Logistics Services, an affiliate of DRAKKAR Aerospace & Ground Transportation, have officially broke ground on a 200,000 square-foot building located in the heart of the brand new Innoparc Albatros district in Saint-Eustache. Focused on sustainable development, this business district is becoming a hub of cutting-edge technology on Montreal's North Shore. It offers an exceptional environment for companies that choose to settle there.
NSE Technical & Logistics Services, one of the first companies to hold tenancy, will occupy 135,000 square feet of space in order to carry out its operations aimed at receiving, warehousing, kitting, assembling and shipping of parts and state-of-the-art equipment for major clients in the transportation sector.
"Our objective was to integrate a new building in an innovative setting that would live up to our ambitions. The entire team is delighted to be a pioneer and stakeholder in this major project, which will enable us to meet the current and future needs of our mobilizing market," said Benoit Hudon, President and CEO of DRAKKAR Aerospace & Ground Transportation.
“As the developer of the project, we at MACH would like to highlight the city and its administration’s excellent collaboration regarding this initiative. Their diligence was exemplary and allowed us to launch this project in a timeframe rarely seen before,” said Pierre-Jacques Lefaivre, Senior Vice-President at MACH.
"We are extremely pleased to welcome such successful companies to the Innoparc, whose sectors of activity meet the leading-edge niches we have identified for this business district. Their establishment will undoubtedly contribute to consolidating the existing inter-company synergy, boosting economic activity, in addition to generating quality jobs for workers and professionals in Saint-Eustache and the region," added the Mayor of Saint-Eustache, Mr. Pierre Charron.
The general contractor CIBS was selected by MACH to carry out the construction and development work on the site, which is expected to be completed by fall 2021. Note that 67,000 square feet of space is still available.
