Certified Evaluator - Finances - Montreal

Under the supervision of the Head of Finance, the Approved Appraiser will be in charge of the evaluation files of our properties and more precisely:

• Collect, analyze and compile appropriate data in order to validate the validity of municipal assessments for taxation purposes;
• Visit and inspect properties;
• Analyze and comment on external real estate valuation reports, or any other types of reports, for transactional, rental and tax purposes;
• Maintain all documentation regarding our property evaluations up to date;
• Assist our external consultants in negotiating the settlement of disputed files on the legal aspect (eligibility, equipment, occupants, etc.);
• Ensure the management of files for various purposes, particularly for contesting values for tax purposes;
• Conduct land value dispute files and potential negotiations;
• Perform all other related tasks in relation to property appraisals.
